Standards and standardization for space debris mitigation
3 heure(s)
Objectifs
OVERVIEW
The number of space debris is growing and constitutes a potential threat to the use of space by humanity. There is an international consensus on the fact that space activities must be managed to minimize the risk of collision between space objects and the risk of human casualties associated with their atmospheric entry.
In this context, standards are being developed to help mitigate the proliferation of space debris, and this training intends to cover all related aspects.
