University Diploma (Diplôme Universitaire)
Adults who want to resume or begin higher education, usually whilst working, can obtain a University Diploma such as a Master's, Bachelor's or University Diploma through continuing training (outside working hours).
Access to the first year of university studies is open to holders of a Secondary School Leaving Diploma (Diplôme de Fin d’Etudes Secondaires) or Technical Secondary School Leaving Diploma (Diplôme de Fin d’Etudes Secondaires Techniques), or a Technician's Diploma (Diplôme de technicien - DT) in a speciality matching the planned university studies, or foreign certificates or diplomas that are recognised as equivalent by the ministry responsible for national education.
Admission to the second (Master's) and third levels (Doctorate) is granted to holders of:
The validation of non-formal and informal learning (VAE) also allows experience to be recognised with a view to accessing various Bachelor's or Master's levels of university studies.
