Vocational Aptitude Diploma (Diplôme d'aptitude professionnelle - DAP)
Adults who discover or rediscover a desire to learn a trade or a profession or to change their professional prospects may obtain a DAP through sandwich training by way of an adult apprenticeship. It should be noted that in the healthcare and social professions sector the DAP for Nursing Assistants is also accessible through on-the-job training.
Adults who work and who wish to gain a DAP for Administrative and commercial agents may attend the class of the first year DAP by way of evening classes.
The DAP provides access to the labour market as a qualified employee.
Anyone who is in employment may also acquire a DAP by the validation of non-formal and informal learning (Validation des acquis de l'expérience - VAE).
