Transition school - working life (TEVA) First transition from school to working life The TEVA study aims to analyse the early careers of new school-leavers. Professional integration and quality of employment The variety of situations experienced by young people during the first three years after leaving school can be understood by using indicators – eleven have been selected to reflect professional integration and the quality of the jobs held. Early career paths of pupils – 8 standard trajectories The variety of professional paths taken by young people on leaving technical secondary education and starting out on their careers can be reduced to a small number of standard trajectories. These standard trajectories of professional integration comprise young people who have followed similar paths. TEVA barometer – following young people’s progress An on-line barometer – a completely new tool - allows to follow the progress of various generations of young people embarking on their working lives and to monitor the quality of their employment.
